ESPRESSO MODE
  • MoJoToGo™ Espresso mode offers professional baristas and espresso enthusiasts the tools to measure, design, diagnose and refine espresso extraction.
  • Eliminate sour or bitter shot defects by determining and making adjustments to quickly dial in extraction yield.
  • Presets for Single, Double or Triple shots as Normale, Lungo or Ristretto can be loaded, or fine tuned for your own specific portions.
  • MoJoToGo™ uses dose weight, beverage weight and TDS% to calculate extraction yield of your shot. Select acceptable extraction range, and memory presets and MoJoToGo™ alerts you if your measurement is outside your desired range.
  • Works with any Coffee/Espresso Refractometer displaying % TDS to 0.1%. Accuracy required: +/- 0.0001 nD or better; 0.1 Deg C or better.
TDS Refractometer Mode
Enter % TDS for the recipe chosen,  or adjust recipe, MoJoToGo computes and displays Ext Yield.
Preset
Nine traditional presets allow you to quickly select a traditional espresso brew formula as a starting point.

Refractometer Type & Extraction Yield
Select Native Refractive Index/TEMP or % TDS Espresso Refractometer Type
Select acceptable range of Extraction Yield (i.e., Min=18%, Max-22%).
Over-Extracted Measurement
Extraction Yield Display ALERT Red if measured Extraction Yield is Higher than limit (i.e., Bitter Taste Defects).
Under-Extracted Measurement
Extraction Yield Display ALERT Yellow if measured Extraction Yield is Lower than limit (i.e., Sour Taste Defects).
Save/Load a Recipe
Recall any saved recipe to Load and use, or tap arrow to view/edit details. Sort by Name or Date.
Recipe Details
Display/Edit eMail details, including: Shot Time, Pressure BARs, Roaster, Grinder, Grind Setting, Location, Notes, Farm/Farmer.
Email a Receipe
Share measurements with friends instantly via email.
Import a Receipe
Use contacts to eMail (export) abbreviated or detailed recipes and measurements.
Import received recipes/measurements to your database, optionally LOAD them.
Localization
MoJoToGo™ uses location services to Geotag measurements, and can include them in exported or eMailed recipes. Recipients may later open in MAPs for walking or driving directions.
